What will Hydropolis be?

Prague’s first science centre dedicated to water, where you’ll experience water like never before. A place where you’ll learn about everything that goes into something as commonplace as drinking water from your tap. You’ll discover water-management technologies and experience water with all your senses.

In a fun, interactive, and educational way.

Vision

Our aim is to bring the currently closed 19th-century waterworks site back to life and open it up to the public as an outdoor park featuring a variety of play equipment and water attractions. At the same time, we want to engage the public with water and water management topics through unique exhibitions at the reservoir and water tower.

WHEN HYDROPOLIS WILL BE READY TO WELCOME YOU

There’s still a lot of work to be done. But we expect Hydropolis to open to the public at the end of 2026.
